Sunday, December 11th, 2005The panda is a revelation – I expected an animal who almost deserved to die out – a sluggish teddy bear, eating the only thing it can’t digest, refusing to breed and not too bright, to boot. But they are amazing, beautiful, strangely elegant creatures with a grace you wouldn’t expect.
